Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, J P Nadda and Yogi Adityanath are among the BJP stalwarts who will soon be campaigning in Telangana.

Several public meetings of the national leaders of the BJP are being planned across the State as the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Telangana on October 27. He will be addressing an election rally in Suryapet. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will then visit on October 28 and 29, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit on October 31.
PM Narendra Modi and BJP national president J P Nadda will then visit in the first week of November.
Shah is also likely to meet Telangana's BJP leaders, especially the disgruntled ones, and brief them on the party's strategy for the Assembly elections. Some of the seniors did not find a place in the first list announced by the party recently. They are deeply dissatisfied with this, and have been openly asking what the point was of giving tickets to "parachuted" leaders and not those who have been in the party for a very long time. Shah is expected to try to soothe the ruffled feathers.
Another interesting development expected to take place during the tour of Shah is a meeting with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Talks are likely to be held for a political alliance between the two parties. The Jana Sena is asking the BJP for 20 Assembly seats to contest in Telangana, but the BJP is planning to give only six to 10 seats. Shah's visit may offer clarity on the Jana Sena - BJP alliance. BJP leaders are saying that the Jana Sena is likely to be allotted Sherlingampally, Kukatpally, Wyra, Kothagudem, Khammam, Madhira, Kodada, Huzurnagar, and a few other Assembly seats in the combined Nalgonda district.
