With the Kamalanathan Committee promising to sort out the division of staff between Telangana and AP by November-end, the TNGOs have deferred their Nov 6 protest.
With the Kamalanathan Committee promising to sort out the long-pending bifurcation of officials and staff between the two Telugu States by November-end, the TNGOs have deferred their proposed November 6 protest.
The TNGOs also informed the Kamalanathan Committee that they would be compelled to launch a massive protest in the first week of December if it failed to stick to its promise of ending the bifurcation process by November-end.
The TNGOs' leaders Devi Prasad and legislator Srinivas Goud today called on Kamalanathan at the Secretariat and urged him to complete the process of bifurcation of the officials and staff without delay.
Talking to mediapersons later, the leaders said that they were deferring the proposed protest on November 6, as Kamalanathan had assured them that the process of bifurcation of officials between the States would be completed.
"We have asked the Committee to expedite the process as the State was split 16 months ago," Prasad and Goud said.
