The Srivari Brahmotsavams at the famous Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirumala will be celebrated this year from September 30 to October 8.
The nine-day celebrations coincide with the Navaratris, concluding on the same day as the Dussehra celebrations do.
The schedule of the rituals is as follows:
September 29, 2019: Ankurarpana and Visvaksena Aradhana September 30: Dwajarohana (flag hoisting) October 1: Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva at 9 pm October 2: Chinna Sesha Vahanam at 9 am, Hamsa Vahanam at 9 pm October 3: Simha Vahanam at 9 am, Muthyala Pallaki Vahanam at 9 pm October 4: Kalpa Vruksha Vahanam at 9 am, Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam at 9 pm October 5: Mohini Avatharam at 9 am, Garuda Vahanam during 7:30 pm to 12 pm October 6: Hanumantha Vahanam at 9 am, Swarna Rathotsavam (golden chariot) at 5 pm, Gaja Vahanam at 9 pm October 7: Surya Prabha Vahana at 9 am, Chandrapraba Vahana at 9 pm October 8: Rathotsavam around 6 am October 9: Chakra Snanam around 6 am, Dwajaavarohanam (ending of the Brahmotsavams) in the evening
