Coming next in a day of fast political developments is the news that three Congress MPs met TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao, regarding the Telangana issue.
Following the controversial statement from AICC spokesperson P Chacko (where he said that statehood for Telangana was never on teh UPA's agenda), the three MPs - Manda Jagannadham, S Rajaiah and Dr. G Vivek -
had given a deadline to the Congress High Command to make a statement on Telangana before May 30.
In a bid to mount pressure on the Congress, the MPs met Telangana Rashtra Samithi president KCR, and held discussions.
TRS has reportedly promised them that it would give a ticket to the constituency which the said MP or MLA is representing, if he joins TRS.
