TGSRTC To Issue Notification For 3,038 Posts Soon
Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation would soon fill 3,038 job vacancies.

Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar today announced that the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) would soon fill 3,038 job vacancies.
Of the 3,038 openings, 2,000 are for drivers, 743 for labourers, 84 for Deputy Superintendents (Traffic), 114 for Deputy Superintendents (Mechanical), 25 for Depot Managers / Assistant Traffic Managers, 18 for Assistant Mechanical Engineers, 23 for Assistant Engineers (Civil), 11 for Section Officers (Civil), six for Accounts Officers, seven for General Medical Officers and seven for Specialist Medical Officers.
The minister expressed satisfaction over the resumption of the recruitment process in the RTC after a long hiatus. He also expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for enabling the long-awaited recruitment within the RTC.
He said that a notification would be released shortly, and the recruitment process would be expedited.
"Under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Congress government is facilitating free travel for women on RTC buses, which has significantly increased the number of female passengers. So far, 165 crore women have availed themselves of this service, resulting in cumulative savings of Rs 5,500 crore for them. The corporation has also procured new buses to support the implementation of the Maha Lakshmi scheme, and the RTC is now ready to fill the resulting openings," he said.
Prabhakar also claimed that since taking office in Telangana, the Congress government had filled over 60,000 positions across various departments. He urged the unemployed youth of the State to seize the opportunity and start preparing for the 3,038 vacancies in the TGSRTC.
