Noted film director Kalatapaswi K Vishwanath on Sunday was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in the city after he complained of uneasiness and extreme weakness.
Talking to media persons, doctors said that the film director's condition is stable and there is no cause for worry.
"His condition is stable and he is responding to treatment well," doctors attending on the film director said.
They said the director, who turned 80 only recently, complained of uneasiness while on a tour to promote his latest film Subhapradham. The film starring Allari Naresh and Manjari Fadnis was released recently across the state.
Vishwanath would be kept under observation for 2 days before a decision on discharging him is taken, according to the doctors.
