Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday launched a missed call campaign in Hyderabad to create a National Unemployed Register.
He also took part in a protest program held by unemployed graduates of the state later.

Speaking on the occasion, Yadav said that the party had held the program to tell the union government that they wanted not an NRC but a National Register of the Unemployed (NRU) in the country.
He urged PM Modi to come out of his "dream world" and help the millions of unemployed youth of the country who were ekeing out their livelihoods by selling tea, fixing punctures and polishing shoes.
He demanded that the PM think of fulfilling his promise of providing two crore jobs to the unemployed youth of the nation.
He said that the program was held following a call given by the National Youth Congress, and added that the Telangana Youth Congress would play a vital role in the preparation of the register.
He urged all the unemployed youth of the state to give a missed call on a toll-free number 8159944111 to register themselves.
