The situation turned tense when BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy and TJAC leader A Dayakar reached Vidyuth Soudha to express their solidarity with the Telangana employees. However, they were not allowed into the premises by the police, and were later taken into custody. This led to an altercation between their supporters and police officials. (INN)
