Telangana To Switch To Electronic Cash Completely

The Chief Advisor and the Chief Secretary to the State government urged the public to get accustomed to cashless transactions and avoid liquid cash.
Hyderabad | 3rd December 2016
Chief Advisor to the TRS government Rajiv Sharma and Chief Secretary K Pradeep Chandra, in a statement, urged Secretariat employees and the general public to get accustomed to cashless transactions and avoid using liquid cash.

At an orientation program held for Secretariat employees, they said that cashless transactions would prove handy and avoid problems that arise while carrying money.

The youth were aware of the benefits of using plastic money and carrying out cashless transactions, and it was time to inculcate the same in others, they said, and added that cashless transactions was the Centre's best decision so far against black money, corruption and terror funding.

They exhorted the people to avoid panicking as the situation that had ensued from the demonetization of the two notes wouldn't last long.

"We will heed the Centre order and enforce cashless transactions all over Telangana soon," they said.
