KCR also directed Transco to obtain 1500 MW of power through dedicated lines, and asked for tenders to be called for drawing lines.
In addition, the Chief Minister wants 2000MW power for the medium term from Chattisgarh to meet Telangana's needs for the coming 5-year period.
The Transco Managing Director has been advised to connect constantly with the Chattisgarh government for this purpose.
