Police Bust Cash Exchange Racket Worth Lakhs

The Telangana Police today busted an illegal cash exchange racket and seized Rs. 27 lakhs in the 2,000 denomination.

The Telangana Police today busted an illegal cash exchange racket and seized Rs. 27 lakhs in the 2,000 denomination.

In the latest case of currency note exchange racket, the Kothur police in the Ranga Reddy district recovered a large sum of Rs. 27 lakhs from the racketeers on Saturday. And the remaining Rs. 10 lakhs notes in the form of Rs. 10, Rs. 20 and Rs. 100 were found.

While the scamsters were travelling with the money, the police intercepted them and seized the cash.

The cops arrested them and are interrogating them about the source of the money.
