The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association wants to organise a massive meeting of employees from the region, demanding the immediate formation of a Telangana.
The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association has decided to organise a massive meeting of employees from the region, in Hyderabad, demanding the immediate formation of a Telangana state.
The proposed meeting is aimed at countering the APNGOs meet held on September 7 against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The decision was taken during a meeting held at the residence of TRS national secretary general K Kesava Rao on Monday. The meeting, presided over by TRSpPresident K Chandrasekhar Rao, was attended by TPJAC chairman M Kodandaram, Telangana Employees JAC leaders and others.
Srinivas Goud said that over one lakh employees from the Telangana region would participate in the proposed meeting. He also dismissed allegations that Seemandhra employees were attacked by pro-Telangana activists. He said the attacks were engineered by Seemandhra leaders themselves to defame the Telangana movement and implicate the activists in false cases. (INN)
