Telangana Decision Likely On July 30

AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh said that the meeting of the UPA Co-ordination Committee, and the Congress Working Committee might take a result on Telangana on Tuesday, July 30.

AICC general secretary Digivijay Singh, on Monday, gave clear indications that the UPA Coordination Committee and the Congress Working Committee might discuss the Telangana issue during their meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Digvijay Singh said that although he was not aware of the meeting's agenda, he felt that the CWC ought to take a decision on the Telangana issue.

With regards to the UPA-panel's meeting, he said that since he was not a member of the UPA Coordination Committee, he was not aware of its agenda.

When asked about the reports of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy resigning in protest against the possible division of Andhra Pradesh, Digvijay Singh pleaded ignorance and said that he was not aware of it. (INN)
