On Sunday, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati reiterated her party's support for the Telangana cause.

Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, Mayawati specifically mentioned the Telangana issue.

She said that the Centre should resolve the Telangana issue at the earliest, and that it should also consider the case of Uttar Pradesh while deciding on the creation of smaller states.

The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said that her party will support the Telangana Bill, if such a bill is introduced in the Parliament. (INN)
