Hyderabad | 3rd June 2025
The Telangana Congress is set to resume its program of interactive sessions between ministers and the public from Wednesday, June 4.
On the first day of the initiative, BC Welfare and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar will have discussions with the public from 11 am to 1 pm at Gandhi Bhavan.
TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud has taken the lead in reviving this direct engagement initiative, which was recently paused due to some circumstances. The Telangana Congress had launched similar interactive sessions under Goud's leadership previously, during which ministers accepted petitions and occasionally contacted officials directly to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
In continuation of this effort, the TPCC has announced a new initiative to make elected representatives accessible to the public on a daily basis. Starting June 10, these representatives will be available at Gandhi Bhavan to engage with the community.
During these sessions, they will address grievances raised by citizens and work towards providing immediate solutions. The schedule will also feature participation from MPs, MLAs and MLCs, who will take part in the daily interaction programs.
