Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka, known for her hands-on approach to governance, surprised students today by joining them in a dance to a popular song from the movie DJ Tillu.
The impromptu performance took place during the Road Safety Month celebrations in Mulugu, where a 3K run was organized to raise awareness among the youth about road accidents.
The minister's lively participation drew cheers, whistles and applause from the students, and a video of her dance has since gone viral on the social media.
Addressing the gathering, Seethakka said that road safety was important, and encouraged young people to adopt safe practices.
She also issued a stern warning to government officials who failed to responsibly implement welfare schemes.
"Disciplinary action will be taken against any official who intentionally mishandles the implementation of schemes. Such behaviour will not be tolerated, and violators may face suspension or removal from service," she said.
The minister specifically addressed allegations regarding the stopping of an elderly woman's pension in Mancherial, and condemned such "arbitrary" decisions. "The government will take strict action against officials who act recklessly. Humanity and discretion must always guide the implementation of welfare programs," she said.
