Accusing AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of hatching conspiracies for NIT seats in Warangal, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today said the TRS government would move court if the AP government got seats against the norms.
Srihari called on Union Human Resources Development secretary Satyanarayana Mohanty at New Delhi today and appealed to him to do justice to Telangana students over the NIT seats.
He complained to Mohanty that the Naidu government had no right to seek a share of the seats after the bifurcation, and said that Article 371 was not relevant to seat sharing.
He remonstrated that Naidu was making deliberate attempts to seek a share in the seats in the Central institution against norms.
Talking to mediapersons later, Kadiam said that the Telangana government would take on Naidu's conspiracies against the state. NIT was a Central institution which allotted 50% of its seats to locals, and the Naidu government was trying to unlawfully seek a share of those seats now, he alleged.
Srihari exuded confidence that Naidu's attempts would not fructy as Article 371 was not relevant to the seats. (NSS)
