State Issues Orders To Open More Businesses, Shops
Giving relief after almost two months to a wide array of businesses, traders and shops, the government today eased the lockdown norms for them.

Giving relief after almost two months to a wide array of businesses, traders and shops in Telangana, the state government issued orders on Saturday easing the lockdown norms.
The Chief Secretary of the state, Somesh Kumar, issued the orders through GO No 66 allowing a variety of shops, businesses and other establishments to restart operations.
The following categories of businesses are allowed to function:
1. Shops selling construction material, hardware, machinery for agriculture operations like pump sets etc.
2. Shops, showrooms and establishments dealing with automobiles and auto parts, automobile repair garages, air conditioners, air coolers and fans shops
3. Businesses selling essential goods, medical shops and hospitals
According to the orders, shops and businesses in the above categories are allowed to run in red zones, GHMC limits and municipalities.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao asked officials to adopt processes for restarting the shops and business establishments to ensure that the lockdown norms were followed.
The GO is an extension to the previous one giving a boost to economic activity in the state in the fight against the coronavirus.
