Home Minister Mahmood Ali Slaps Security Officer

Home Minister Mahmood Ali today lost control and slapped one of his personal security officers at a public event over a highly trivial issue.

A video of the incident has gone viral on the social media.

Ministers Mahmood Ali and Talasani Srinivas Yadav were attending the inaugural ceremony of the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme for school children at a government school in the city. After the conclusion of the program, Mahmood Ali went on to the stage and embraced Talasani, who incidentally also turned 59 today, and conveyed birthday wishes to him.

After hugging Yadav, Mahmood Ali asked his security officer to give him a flower bouquet. The security officer was not readily carrying the bouquet, and that led to the Home Minister losing his cool and slapping the officer, and in front of the entire crowd.

It should be noted that it is normally not the duty of gunmen to carry anything for the people they are protecting.

A bouquet was made available to the minister in a few seconds.
