A full court meeting of the Telangana High Court judges has taken a preliminary decision to cancel the annual summer vacation of all the courts of the state.
However, a final decision will be taken on the issue on April 25.
If the vacation is cancelled, the courts will function till June 5.
The meeting also decided to continue the present arrangement with regard to the functioning of the high court and the district courts, till April 30.
In the present arrangement made in the context of the ongoing lockdown in the state, the HC is hearing only urgent matters through video conferencing, and the functioning of all the subordinate courts in the state has been suspended, till April 14.
