Telangana Governor E S L Narasimhan visited New Delhi and reportedly asked the Prime Minister to help with the bifurcation of the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh common high court.
Besides enlightening him on the situation in the two Telugu states, the Governor also spoke with him on the controversial High Court bifurcation issue, the demarcation of water bodies between the two States, the dispute between the two Chief Ministers and States over irrigation projects and the division of institutions, and other related issues.
When asked about the distribution of Krishna waters between the two States, the Governor said that he trusted the Centre to take care of it.
Narasimhan will also likely speak with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Law Minister Shiv Shankar Prasad about issues concerning Telangana and AP.
PM Modi is scheduled to pay a visit to Telangana on August 7 to inaugurate various developmental projects.
