Governor, CM Greet People On Occasion of New Year
They expressed hope that the wishes of every citizen would be fulfilled in 2024, and that every house in the State would be filled with prosperity and light.
Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Sunday greeted the people of the State on the occasion of the upcoming New Year.
"I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes for a very happy and prosperous New Year in 2024 to all the people of Bharath in general and all Telangana people in particular," Soundararajan said.
"Let's all take a decision to continue the successful battle against all social ills in 2024, and bring in a society that is equal, just, friendly, inclusive, peaceful, sustainable and healthy. We will be happy and keep others happy. Let us all work committedly for our development and that of the State and the country, too," she said.
CM Revanth Reddy too wished the people of the State a Happy New Year.
He expressed hope that the wishes of every citizen would be fulfilled in 2024, and that every house in the State would be filled with prosperity and light.
He said that 2024 had been labelled by his government as the 'farmer-woman-youth' year, and that he was ready to fully implement the Congress' six guarantees in the year.
BRS president and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao too extended his greetings to the people of Telangana. He said that he wished that the lives of the people of Telangana would be filled with happiness and peace in 2024.
