TRS Government Denies Role In Nayeem Encounter

TRS leader S Ramalinga Reddy denied the allegation that the Telangana government was involved in the killing of gangster Mohammed Nayeemuddin.

TRS leader S Ramalinga Reddy today, on behalf of the State government, denied the allegation that it was involved in the encounter of gangster and renegade naxalite Mohammed Nayeemuddin.

Addressing a press conference, the TRS leader said that the previous regimes had encouraged Nayeem's activities by giving silent consent to his alleged irregularities, illegal settlements, land grabbing activities, murders, extortions and looting.

He also said that the encounter was conducted as per the standard police procedure without any political interference. He vouched for the Telangana police department's sincerity in this case.
