In a bid to fill its treasury by selling its lands, the Telangana government today approved, in a Cabinet meeting, a new land acquisition act. The Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao gave its nod for a new land acquisition act, besides making all the government payments online.
In other decisions made in the Cabinet, the Chief Minister also prepared a strategy on how to conduct the Winter Session of Assembly on Dec 16 at 10 am. It is learnt that KCR asked his Cabinet colleagues to come well prepared to the house and corner the Opposition which is expected to make its voice heard on some issues.
