It may be recalled that the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET's medical and agriculture results were not declared earlier due to the confusion over NEET. Following a Union government ordinance on Friday that States could conduct their own entrance tests for medical college seats this year and that NEET would be enforced from 2017, the path was cleared for the announcement of AP EAMCET medical results.
The test had been conducted on April 29 from 2 pm to 5:30 pm, and the board later released a preliminary answer key. A total of 98,750 students had appeared for the exam.
Human Resource Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and EAMCET convenor Prof. C H Sai Babu (JNTU Kakinada) were present.
