Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy today made an interesting comment that the Congress' rule in Telangana was good.
Speaking to the media, Reddy said that the people were happy with the governance of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and that there were no major complaints against the State government.
Gutha also said that there were structural defects in the BRS at the field level.
"I am now in a constitutional post that is not related to any party. I don't need to wear any party scarf. Although I am a relative of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, I have met him only during the Assembly sessions, and have never met him outside. I also do not want to join any political party," he said.
Reddy also admitted that his son and BRS leader Gutha Amith Reddy had been invited to join the Congress, but that no negotiations had taken place in this regard.
He alleged that some leaders in the BRS did not cooperate Amith and so he had decided not to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Gutha technically belongs to the BRS, and was made Council Chairman by KCR when the BRS was in power in the State.
