The Telangana government on Monday issued orders constituting a Cabinet Sub-Committee to negotiate and resolve the issues pertaining to the strike by the APSRTC employees of Telangana.
The Committee will be headed by Labour and Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy as its chairman. Finance Minister Etela Rajender and Transport Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy will be its members while the Secretary of the Transport and Road & Buildings Department will be the Committee's convener.
The Committee will also make recommendations on improving the operational and financial condition of the Road Transport Corporation.
"The Cabinet Sub-Committee shall give its recommendations expeditiously in view of the urgency of the issues involved," GO RT No. 1325 issued by Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma said on Monday. (INN)
