The Telangana Congress today announced that it would start its own newspaper and news channel very soon.

Addressing the Congress party mandal- and block-level representatives' training camp in Shamsahabad on Saturday, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy asked the party activists to also utilize the social media to the greatest extent to get the party line across.

He also revealed that he would take up a Congress bus yatra across the state.

The Telangana Congress boss also asked his party cadre cadre not to be afraid of the TRS' harassments. The Congress would take revenge after returning to power, he said.

He also ridiculed that Bangaru Telangana was achieved by only the four members of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's family.

The Congress had lost the 2014 elections because of KCR's false promises, he said, and exuded confidence that the party would bounce back with 90 seats in the Assembly in the 2019 elections, given the TRS' failure to fulfill any of its promises.
