Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy informed that his Party would organize a public meeting on October 19 at Serilingampally to discuss the double bedroom house scheme and the condition of roads in Hyderabad.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, Reddy said that the AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh, Secretary R C Khuntia and SC Cell Chairman Koppula Raju would attend the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Day meeting to be held at Charminar on the 19th.
He also said that the Party would also organize a "Rythu Garjana" public meeting in Mahabubabad protesting against the delay in remittance of the loan waivers to the farmers in the State. The Party will also take up a signature campaign from October 21 onwards in collaboration with the Youth Congress across the State demanding that the State government implement the fees reimbursement scheme by releasing Rs. 2000 crores immediately. During these dharnas, the Congress will also raise the issue conditions of the roads and infrastructure that were damaged during the recent rains in the city, and will discuss the allegation that the main reason behind the failure of the infrastructure was graft more than negligence.
