Deputy Congress Legislature Party leader in the Telangana Legislative Council Mohammad Ali Shabbir on Monday questioned the seriousness of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the Polavaram Project issue.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office, Shabbir Ali alleged that KCR was never serious on the Polavaram ordinance issue.
He said that KCR did not take an all-party delegation to New Delhi on the issue, and he himself did not represent the matter with the Centre.
He strongly criticised IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao for blaming the Congress for the Polavaram Bill. He said that instead of asking the Congress to stop the Bill in the Rajya Sabha, KTR should ask his father (KCR) to take up the matter with the Centre. (INN)
