Telangana CLP Finalises Agenda For Budget Session
The Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP) will raise 28 major issues during the budget session of the Telangana Assembly and Council beginning on Saturday.

The Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has decided to raise 28 major issues of public interest during the budget session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council beginning on Saturday.
The decision was taking during the meeting held at the Assembly's Committee Hall on Friday.
The meeting was attended by the Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy, CLP leader in the Council D Srinivas, TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy and other legislators including Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Dr J Geetha Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
Legislators T Jeevan Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Santosh Kumar and Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed abstained from the meeting.
Briefing media persons later, CLP Secretary Ram Mohan Reddy said that 28 major issues had been identified which would be raised during the budget session. They included farmers' suicides, Swine Flu, the hike in the power tariff, the shifting of the chest hospital, the construction of a new Secretariat, the sale of government land and the filling up of vacancies.
The issue of the disqualification of rebel legislators would also be raised in the House, he said.
The CLP meeting lasted nearly three-and-a-half hours. (INN)
