KCR Selects Rachakonda For Cinema, Sports City
It was found that nearly 31,000 acres of land is available in Rachakonda, which includes a hilly region.

The Telangana Government will set up a Cinema City, a Sports City and other institutions in and around the Rachakunda area falling in the Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts.
The decision was taken after Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao conducted an aerial survey of Rachakunda on Monday morning.
He was accompanied by Education Minister Jagadish Reddy, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy and Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma.
The Chief Minister later interacted with officials to elicit more information.
It was found that nearly 31,000 acres of land is available in Rachakonda, which includes a hilly region.
Therefore, the State Government is proposing to construct a Cinema City, Sports City, a university and other institutions.
A part of the area can also be developed as an industrial belt, the team felt.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to prepare a detailed report in this regard.
Ranga Reddy District Collector Sridhar and Nalgonda Collector Chiranjeevi also participated in the visit. (INN)
