Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday promised that the State Government would provide free housing to all the poor persons in the State.
Addressing a public meeting at Ghareeb Nagar in the Gisukonda mandal of the Parkal Assembly segment in the Warangal district, KCR said that the government was committed to providing pensions, ration cards and free housing to all poor people.
During the third day of his Warangal visit, KCR also interacted with the residents of Ghareeb Nagar. He assured that the government would provide them all possible assistance, and that soon their area would be known as "Ameer Nagar".
He also assured them that the encroachments in that area would be regularised as per the rules. He advised the residents to provide all the relevant details to the officials who would be visiting them soon.
The Chief Minister also issued directions to the officials to resolve the problems being faced by the people. (INN)
