Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today extended greetings to the Telangana people on the eve of Ugadi, to be celebrated on Tuesday.
The CM expressed hope that the Telugu New Year Sri Krodhi Nama would bring good fortune to the people in all fields.
Reddy also said that he wished for the well-being of the people and that the New Year would bring cheers in the lives of the farmers with abundant rains and harvesting.
The CM also exuded confidence that Telangana would achieve many milestones in development and would become a role model for the country in the days to come, and appealed to the people to celebrate the festival with fervour but in a manner reflecting the Telugu culture and tradition.
Governor C P Radhakrishnan too extended wishes to Telugus all over the world.
"May this Telugu New Year usher in blessings and prosperity for you and your loved ones. Krodhi, being the 37th in the astrological cycle, signifies auspiciousness. Let us strive for the all-round development of Telangana and our nation, fostering self-reliance and progress. Reflecting on the past, let us commit to a better future through dedication and service.
"Together, let us build a progressive Telangana and a self-reliant India, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. Let us embrace the Ugadi spirit, symbolized by the diverse tastes of the traditional Ugadi Pachchadi, to face life's challenges with optimism.
