CM, Governor Extend Christmas Greetings
Telangana CM KCR, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, and leading Opposition leaders were among top leaders who extended Christmas greetings today.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today extended Christmas greetings to the people of the State.
The Chief Minister said, "The birthday of Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us love and compassion, is celebrated worldwide with happiness and joy. I want people of Telangana to celebrate Christmas amidst happiness and bliss."
Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, too, effusively greeted all the members of the Christian fraternity.
The Governor said, "Christmas is a time of joyous remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also an occasion to renew the bonds of love and compassion which Jesus has taught the world. The life of Jesus Christ is a source of inspiration to us to lead our lives with virtue, love and faith. On this occasion, I wish all my Christian brothers and sisters a warm and happy Christmas."
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Uttam Kumar Reddy too extended greetings to Christians, and said that in the present circumstances in the country, it was necessary to follow the messages given by Jesus.
State BJP President K Laxman also greeted Christians, and expressed his desire that they celebrate the event with happiness.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan too extended Christmas greetings to all Christians on behalf of his party workers as well as himself.
"Jesus Christ extended the weapons like truth, righteousness, peace and patience to the universe. The life of Jesus Christ notifies that anyone who moves forward for righteousness will expose truth courageously. He never forgoes his peace and patience in pronouncing the truth to mankind. The discourses delivered by Christ are still applicable as guidelines to the present-day society (sic)," he said.
