Governor, CM Greet People On Eve Of Christmas
The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CMs and Governor extended greetings to the people of the two states on the eve of Christmas.

AP and Telangana Governor E S L Narasimhan on Monday extended greetings to all the members of the Christian fraternity and the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the eve of Christmas.
In a message, the Governor said, "Christmas is a time of joyous remembrance of Jesus Christ. It is also an occasion to renew the bonds of love, tolerance and compassion, which Jesus taught the world. The life of Jesus Christ is a source of inspiration to all of us to lead our lives with virtue and faith. On this occasion, I join my Christian brethren and sisters to pray for peace and harmony in the world. I wish all of you a Happy and Merry Christmas."
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao too greeted the people. In a message, the CM said that the birth of Lord Jesus, who taught people love and compassion, was celebrated worldwide with happiness and joy. He wanted people to celebrate Christmas amidst happiness and bliss.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu too extended greetings to the people of both the Telugu states and everywhere else. In a statement, Naidu said that Jesus Christ preached peace and wished the welfare of mankind. He exhorted Christians to pursue the preachings of Jesus Christ.
Leader Of Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy too greeted the people of both the Telugu states. Jagan, who is currently touring the Pathapatnam Assembly constituency in Srikakulam district as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, said that Jesus had given a great message through his life and teachings, which included love for every being, sacrifice with no barriers, peaceful co-existence, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. "The teachings of Jesus Christ will guide humanity to walk in the path of righteousness," he said, and asked everyone to celebrate the festival with fervour and gaiety.
