Amidst all the attacks on the Telagana government's new land registration system, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar today stated that the system was nothing short of revolutionary.
"The TRS government has come up with a revolutionary set of reforms to improve the land registration and mutation processes in the state that checks corruption and is time-efficient as well. Ours is the only state that has made such reforms," Kumar claimed.
Highlighting the benefits of the new system, he said that it would check real estate-related irregularities and reduce the intervention of middlemen.
Besides this, the people would also be able to access information regarding taxes among other crucial things through the portal, the CS said, and urged them to avail themselves of the "hassle-free, corruption-free" land registration services offered on the Dharani portal.
Stating that the registration was only delayed due to some inevitable teething problems, he promised the people that the issues in the system were being fixed so that the registrations could be carried out in a timely manner.
