Congress, TSRTC JAC To Intensify Bus Strike
The Congress and the TSRTC employees' unions' JAC announced a series of protest programs over the next few days to mount pressure on the State government.

The Telangana Congress core committee and the TSRTC employees' unions' JAC have decided to intensify the bus strike to mount pressure on the State government.
The leaders met today and decided to organize a series of high-impact agitation programs over the next few days:
1. Striking RTC employees will mob TRS public representatives on November 11 and submit representations to them.
2. The employees will hold protests before all bus depots on the following day.
3. On November 18, they will organize a Sadak bandh.
Also, JAC leaders Ashwatthama Reddy and Raji Reddy will observe a hunger strike tomorrow (Monday).
A committee has also been constituted under the leadership of former MLA S A Sampath Kumar to meet the National Human Rights Commission and Woman's Commission chairpersons and submit representations to them on the strike.
Congress leaders V Hanumantha Rao, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, S A Sampath Kumar, Ch Vamshichand Reddy and others were present in the meeting with the TSRTC employee unions' JAC leaders.
Later, the Congress core committee met at Gandhi Bhavan to discuss the issue further. Senior party leaders K Jana Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar and Kusuma Kumar also participated in the meeting. The committee called upon Congress workers to hold protests in all the districts to highlight the problems being faced by the RTC workers. The party also decided to organize protests in front of the houses of ministers, MLAs and MPs on November 11.
Ashwatthama Reddy said that as the State government was yet to invite them for talks or respond to their issues, they had taken the decision to intensify the agitation.
The RTC employees' strike entered its 37th day today.
