BJP Files Complaint On Balakrishna For Abusing PM

The Telangana BJP condemned the "abusive" language used by Nandamuri Balakrishna against PM Narendra Modi, and lodged a complaint with the police today.
Hyderabad | 21st April 2018
The Telangana BJP severely condemned the "abusive" language used by Telugu film hero and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and lodged a complaint with the police today.

A delegation of party leaders led by BJP MLC and Greater Hyderabad party president Naraparaju Ramchander Rao went to the Osmania University police station and lodged a complaint against Balakrishna stating that the Hindupur MLA had used profanities against the Prime Minister.

Directing such language towards the Prime Minister was a grave crime, Rao said. "While expressing a grievance, if any, in a public forum is the right of any individual, there is a need to maintain decorum while articulating it, especially when the grievances involve constitutional functionaries and people of eminence. Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of the country and a highly revered leader of the people, and the language used by the MLA deeply hurt the sentiments of people in the entire country," he claimed.
