The BJP strongly condemned the TRS govt for taking back land allotted to the APNGOs, and said such moves would escalate the tension between the two States.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has strongly condemned the TRS government for taking back land allotted to the APNGOs at Gopannapalli.
Speaking to media persons, Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy said that the land given to the APNGOs was not for commercial or industrial purposes. He said that the land was meant for the welfare of the employees of State government, and therefore, no conditions were laid at the time of allotment.
He appealed to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to return the land to the APNGOs in the larger interests of Telangana.
He said that such moves might escalate the avoidable tension between the two States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Kishan Reddy said that by taking away the land KCR was setting a bad precedent and would lead to animosity among the Telugu speaking people. (INN)
