Government chief whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy has claimed that the Congress High Command is ready with its strategy to ensure the passing of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013 in the Parliament.
Speaking to media persons on Monday, Gandra condemned the efforts being made by Seemandhra leaders to stop the formation of Telangana. However, he said that the Telangana Bill would face no obstacles in Delhi, and that it would be passed there without any hurdles.
He also condemned Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for serving a notice seeking the rejection of the Telangana Bill in the Legislative Assembly. He demanded that the CM withdraw the notice immediately.
Gandra also accused TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of making efforts to stop the Telangana Bill. He said that both the Chief Minister and Naidu are working on the same agenda of stopping the state's bifurcation although their tones and styles are different. (INN)
