The State government has appointed AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi as Protem Speaker, and issued orders to this effect. Prior to the Assembly sessions beginning, Owaisi will be sworn in as the Protem Speaker by Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan at 8:30 AM. Later, Owaisi will preside over the sessions until the election of the new Speaker is completed.
After the adjournment of the Assembly session tomorrow, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will launch the free bus travel scheme for women from the Assembly premises.
Later, the Chief Minister will go to the Nizam's Institute Of Medical Sciences (NIMS) and launch the enhanced Arogyasri scheme. As part of its six guarantees, the Congress had promised that it would implement the Arogyasri scheme with an expediture limit of Rs 10 lakh.
