The Telangana government will felicitate several IAS officials with excellence awards for their stand-out efforts to implement various schemes and programs in the state in 2017.
According to information, the officials to be receiving the excellence awards include:
Devasena, Collector of Jangaon (for offering self-defense training to school girls) Adilabad Collector Jyothi Budha Prakash for Kalyan Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes R V Karan and Anurag Jayant for DPMS program for Stars-30 program in ITDAs Nizamabad Collector Yogitha Rana for rehabilitation of destitute children Jayashankar Collector Murali and Jagitial Collector Sharath for creating confidence among the people in government hospitals and institutions Sidhipet Collector Venkata Ramana for Mission Bhagiratha Bhadradri Kothagudem Collector Rajiv Hanmnathu for Mission Kakatiya Suryapet Collector Surendra Mohan and Warangal Rural Collector Prashanth J Patil for Harithaharam Nalgonda Collector Gaurav Uppal for Arogya Lakshmi scheme
The government has also decided to give special awards to three literary personalities - famous lyricists Suddala Ashok Teja and Jayaraj, and noted Telugu Sanskrit scholar Bashyam Vijayasaradhi.
All awards will be given on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15.
