6 More BC Communities Get Self-Respect Buildings
Minister for BC Welfare Gangula Kamalakar handed over the acknowledgement certificates to six BC communities for the construction of self-respect buildings.
Minister for BC Welfare Gangula Kamalakar handed over the acknowledgement certificates to six different backward class communities for the construction of self-respect buildings, on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar, accompanied by his cabinet colleague Srinivas Goud, said that the State government had allocated a total of 82.3 acres of land to 41 backward class communities at Kokapet in the city for the construction of self-respect buildings, and that constructions of buildings had been approved for 24 communities.
The minister said that it was the first time in the country that a State government was allocating land and constructing self-respect buildings for BCs.
"The backward classes people are being respected in Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and are benefiting from various schemes. The BCs are leading a difinified life in Telangana," Kamalakar claimed.
