In the budget proposals presented in the Assembly on Monday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao allocated:
Rs 12,000 crore for the farmers' scheme Rythu Bandhu Rs 6,000 crore for crop loan waiver Rs 2,714 crore for Grama Panchayats Rs 1,336 crore per annum for the Arogyasri health scheme Rs 1,137 crore for farmers' insurance premium payment Rs 9,402 crore for Asara pensions
The Chief Minister said nationwide recession reduced the State's revenue. However, he expressed hope that the situation would improve in the coming days and that the revenues would increase.
He also said that payments of dues in all sectors would be made and that the appropriate allocations would be made in the budget.
