TDP Student Supporters held at MLA Krishna Rao's House
Hundreds of activists of the Telugu Nadu Students Federation marched to the residence of defecting Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao and raised slogans.
Enraged over Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao joining the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi on the eve of the MLC elections, a large number of activists of the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF) marched to the residence of the legislator this morning and raised slogans against him.
However, police personnel rushed to the spot and took the protestors into custody.
Upon this, the protestors had heated arguments with the police, creating a tense atmosphere.
It may be mentioned here that Madhavaram Krishna Rao was elected from the Kukatpally Assembly constituency on a TDP ticket. However, on the eve of the crucial MLC elections, Rao resigned from the TDP and joined the ruling TRS. (NSS)
