The Telugu Desam Party has decided to hold its 36th annual convention, Mahanadu 2017, at Visakhapatnam from May 27 to 28. It has also decided to hold Telangana Mahanadu 2017 at Exhibition Grounds in Nampally on May 24.
Speaking to mediapersons at NTR Bhavan on Friday, TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrashekara Reddy, along with Telangana TDP president L Ramana and working president A Revanth Reddy, said that the Telangana party leaders and cadre were ready to go to Visakhapatnam for which transport arrangements were being made. He also said that party leaders from the village to the state level, including the people's representatives, would be participating in the Telangana Mahanadu in the Exhibition Grounds at Nampally on May 24.
Ravula said that extensive meetings would be held in all the constituencies of Telangana from May 10 to 20 in which the party's leaders would discuss in detail the burning problems of the people as well as the anti-people policies of the TRS government, and the proposed resolutions would be presented in Telangana Mahanadu on May 24.
