Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today exhorted the Party's rank and file to launch an aggressive campaign and apprise the voters on TDP's future welfare schemes and developmental programs for the upcoming MLC elections to be held in March.
At a teleconference, Naidu asked his ministers and Party leaders to take up voter enrolment constituency-wise in 9 districts on October 15, 16 and 17 and ensure that every eligible citizen gets his or her voting rights.
Unless we take up the campaign to each doorstep, we cannot expect people to know what we have to offer this time around, he said.
Stating that the TDP was lacking focus in indirect elections, Naidu directed Party leaders to take on the Opposition on welfare schemes aggressively during the campaign.
He also briefed about the fiber grid, the water grid and the power grid initiatives, he asked the party leaders to focus on talking about basic facilities such as roads, water, power supply and infrastructure, and explain how the TDP was implementing these, apart with explaining future projects.
The TDP supremo expressed hope of remaining in power in Andhra Pradesh for the next 20 years.
