Telugu Desam Party deputy floor leader Gali Muddu Krishnamma Naidu, on Thursday, alleged that Union Minister Vayalar Ravi's
visit to Hyderabad has had an adverse impact on the state.
Talking to reporters at the state Secretariat, Muddu Krishnamma Naidu said that the entire administration had come to a halt due to Vayalar Ravi's visit. All MLAs, MPs and ministers had queued up to meet Ravi to ensure that they remain in good books of the Congress High Command, he said.
The TDP leader also alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy's recent visit to the national capital was purely political in nature.
He said that the CM had bowed down before the High Command to ensure that he does not lose his seat.
Muddu Krishnamma Naidu slammed the CM for not meeting Union Energy Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and Coal & Gas Minister S Jaipal Reddy in view of the energy crisis that the state has been facing.
He also condemned Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahuluwalia for praising the Chief Minister for the annual plan. He said that it was the Planning Commission which had earlier slammed the state government for having a deficit of over Rs. 25,000 crore.
The TDP leader demanded that the state government issue a White Paper on the state's annual plan. (INN)
