The Telangana government will also conduct the funeral, name a noted university after the celebrated poet/lyricist, and install statues elsewhere.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that Dr C Narayana Reddy was a "pearl of gems" in the literary world, whose demise caused a deep void and left the literary world in grief and deep sorrow.
The Chief Minister visited the residence of Narayana Reddy and placed a wreath on his body, and paid rich tributes.
Reddy, fondly known as "Cinare", was a master of the literary world and had scaled great heights in the field, KCR said. Hundreds of people used to throng his meetings whether they were on literature, poetry or any others, he said.
KCR said that to hounour the poet and Jnanpeeth recipient, the Telangana government would install a statue on Tank Bund, and set up a literary centre and a memorial museum dedicted to his works and thinking in Hyderabad. The government would also rechristen a noted university or institute after him, as also install bronze statues at Karimnagar town, Reddy's village Hanumajipet and Sircilla.
"The government will also extend all possible support to Saraswatha Parishat with which Narayana Reddy was associated. We will conduct the funeral of the departed poet, and will press into service 100 buses for those who wish to come to attend it from the districts," the CM said.
He called upon Narayana Reddy's admirers to attend the final rites on June 14 in large numbers.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Sahithya Academy Chairman Nandini Siddha Reddy and others were present.
